Laxmi is the Goddess of wealth, fortune and prosperity not only on a material but on spiritual level as well. She is the consort of Lord Vishnu and one of the three Tridevis along with Devi Saraswati and Devi Gauri. The meaning itself of the name Laxmi is Lakshya which is ‘goal’. She has four hand and each hands depicts for very different things. The main significance of this Laxmi pujan is to seek an embodiment of power and intelligence as she holds the abhay mudra and gyaan mudra in her right hands.
